What to write to have your clients sell themselves on working with you

Audit Your Content: Step 4

  • Are you naming the mechanism — or just the method?

    The method is your offer. The mechanism is the shift or insight that makes it work.


    Prompt: What is the underlying approach or idea within your offer that makes it so effective?

    🧠 Example:
    Instead of: “Buy my launch course”
    You say: “You need a pre-launch runway that does the selling before the cart even opens.” (we want them to see-and-agree that this is what's needed)

  • Are you explaining why your mechanism matters - or just stating it?

    Without context, the mechanism just feels like another strategy. The why builds belief.


    Prompt: What’s broken in their current approach that your mechanism solves?
    Example:
    “Sales pages aren’t dead - but high-ticket buyers don’t read them the same way anymore. That’s why your messaging has to do the heavy lifting before they ever get there.”

  • Are you connecting the mechanism to results - not just reasoning?

    Logic is good, but results sell. Anchor your mechanism in real transformation by sharing examples of results it gets.


    Prompt: Which client wins prove this way works? Where has this mechanism delivered measurable change?

  • Is your audience saying “That’s what I’ve been missing”?

    If your content doesn’t spark that kind of recognition, it’s not specific or resonant enough.


    Prompt: Is your message helping them reframe their problem in a way that feels true and relieving?

  • Are you letting the mechanism lead them to the offer - or shoving the offer in without letting the mechanism breathe?

    The goal is to build such airtight logic around what’s needed, they go looking for the offer themselves, this is "sell-themselves" content.
    Prompt: Re-read your last few posts: Are you selling your offer or selling the idea of what they need to get what they want?
